NEET UG eligibility requirements for 2023
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a minimum of 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English at the 10+2 level in addition to passing each of those subjects separately. The minimum mark in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology combined in the 10+2 examination for candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PWBD, or Other Backward Classes (NCL) is 40% instead of 50% for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates.
For H.S. Appearing Students: Applicants who are studying the 10+2 Exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects are also eligible to apply and take the Competitive Entrance Examination if they expect to pass the Exam with the required percentage of marks. However, their application will only be considered if they can show documentary proof that they passed the 10+2 Exam with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
Nationality: The following nationalities' citizens are qualified to apply for NEET (UG).
- Indian citizens.
- Indian non-residents (NRIs).
- Indian citizens living abroad (OCI).
- Individuals of Indian Origin (PIO).
- foreign residents.
Age Limit: Candidates may apply for NEET UG 2023 if they were 17 years old at the time of admission or if they will turn 18 on or before December 31, 2023.
Test Pattern for NEET (UG) 2023
The Test pattern of NEET (UG) 2023Consisting of four Subjects. There will be two sections for each subject mandatory. The candidates can choose to attempt any 10 of the 15 questions in Part B and the 35 questions in Section A. As a result, the total number of questions and the amount of time users will not change.
