For Hiring of Post Graduate Teacher (Arts): Candidate Must Have Degree in

1. Post Graduate Degree in Arts from any recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject 
2. Candidate Must Have Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education any recognized Institutions

For Hiring of Post Graduate Teacher (Science): Candidate Must Have Degree in

1. Candidate Must Have Post Graduate Degree in Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject
2. Candidate Must Have Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree from National Council for Teacher Education

Foe Graduate Teacher (Arts)

1. Candidates Must Have Pravin/ Ratna Degree in Hindi with 55% marks and Graduate Degree with 55% marks or post Graduate degree in Arts with 55% marks with Pravin/ Ratna Degree in Hindi with 55% marks from any recognized University, Or BA with 55% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 55% marks or post Graduate Degree in Arts with 55% marks provided that he has passed BA with one of the subjects as Hindi with 55% marks in Hindi.
2. Candidates Must Have B.Ed. degree from any recognized University (PARANGAT to be treated as B.Ed. degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching)

Minimum Necessary educational and professional qualifications for Hiring of Assistant Teacher (Arts & Science)

For the post of Assistant Teacher (Arts) the candidate must Have Degree in 

1. Candidate Must Have A Graduate Degree in Arts from recognized University with a minimum 55% marks
2. Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Degree from National Council for Teacher Education

For the post of Assistant Teacher (Science) the candidate must Have Degree in

Minimum Necessary educational and professional qualifications for Hiring of Computer Tutor

1. Candidates Must Have Passed M.C.A., M.Sc. (IT), M.Tech. (Computer Science) with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized University/Institution

Minimum Necessary educational and professional qualifications for The Post of  Direct recruitment of Laboratory Assistant

1. Candidates Must Have Passed Higher Secondary 10+2 in Science stream with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized Board. 

Important Note:-

In accordance with the Government Order No. ASE.238/2014/213, dated 22.11.2019, those institutions with territorial jurisdiction outside the State of Assam but having a study centre in the State, and such study centres if not recognised by DEC under UGC, Page 3 of 8, the degrees/certificates issued by such off campus institutions shall not be considered as valid for the purpose of employment. However, for the purpose of engagement, legitimate degrees or certificates awarded by KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University, and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University shall be regarded as authentic.

1. Since Adarsha Vidyalayas are English-only secondary schools with CBSE accreditation, candidates must have earned a passing grade in class 12 or an exam with a similar level of English proficiency. 
2. In addition to being competent in the major topic, the teacher must also be capable of teaching two other subjects.
