Candidates who are currently in their third or higher year of any undergraduate degree program OR who have already completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts are eligible to take the GATE 2023 exam.

GATE 2024 Registration Required Documents
Documents necessary to complete the GATE 2024 online application form:
- A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph conforming to the requirements specified (See Brochure Section 4.4.7 A).
- A high-quality image of the candidate’s signature conforming to the requirements specified (See Brochure Section 4.4.7 B).
- Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format.
- Scanned copy of any of the valid photo Identity documents: Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Cardhttps://alljobsforyou.com/, Voter ID and

GATE 2024 Registration Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for GATE 2024 will be as follows:
- Mode of Examination: Online
- Examination Duration: 3 hours
- Questions: 65 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and each incorrect answer will be penalized by 0.25 marks. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Subjects: The GATE 2024 will be conducted in the following subjects:
