Indian Coast Guard Civilian Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Indian Coast Guard Eligibility Criteria are given below. Interested candidates should check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for the vacancies

Store Keeper Grade II

  1. 12th pass from a recognized Board or University.
  2. One year’s experience in handling stores.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
Engine Driver

  1. Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  2. Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from are cognized Govt. Institute or equivalent.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Draughtsman

  1. Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship Construction. or
  2. ITI Certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above-mentioned disciplines.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)

  1. 10th standard pass.
  2. Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
  3. Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
  4. Should have at least two years of experience in driving motor vehicles.
  5. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
Forklift Operator

  1. Certificate in the respective trade from ITI or other recognized Institutions with not less than one year experience in the trade or 3 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in ITI or other recognized institutions.
  2. Should possess heavy-duty vehicle driving license.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
  4. Desirable – Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards. Knowledge of English.
Welder (Skilled)

  1. Matriculation or equivalent.
  2. Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized / reputed workshop in the relevant trade. or
  3. Should have completed a training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have one year of Trade experience or
  4. 04 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the ITI or other recognized institutions.
  5. Should qualify for a trade entrance examination.
  6. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
Lascar

  1. Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards.
  2. 3 years experience in service on a Boat.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
MTS (Peon)

  1. Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  2. 02 years experience as an office attendant.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
MTS (Sweeper)

  1. Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  2. 02 years experience in clanship in any recognized firm.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
Unskilled Labourer

  1. Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards or ITI.
  2. 03 years experience in the trade.
  3. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
