Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is going to conduct an online preliminary examination on 18th November and 19th November 2023 for the recruitment of 450 Assistant vacancies. All the candidates who submitted their online applications between 13th September 2023 and 4th October 2023 may now download their online call letter or Admit Card from this page.

Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹20,700/- per month on the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria of RBI Assistant Recruitment
Age Limit:
A candidate must fall in the age group of 20 to 28 years to be eligible to apply for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. Check the age relaxation as per the government rules from the below table. Candidates who must have been born not earlier than 02/02/1994 and not later than 01/02/2002 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD/ UR: 10 years
- PWD/ OBC: 13 years
- PWD/ SC-ST: 15 years
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Note: There is no need for a minimum of 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD categories (only pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for a post in a particular recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting Office.
RBI Assistant Application Fee
Application Fee:
The candidates have to pay the requisite application fee while submitting their RBI Assistant Application Form.
SC/ST/PWD/EXS. (Intimation Charges): Rs.50/-
OBC/General/EWS candidates (Examination fees+ Intimation Charges): Rs 450/-
Please note that the Staff candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees and intimation charges
RBI Assistant Selection Process
The RBI Selection Process takes place in three stages the Prelims, Mains, and the language proficiency test. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the Prelims and Mains RBI Assistant Exam. The Exam Pattern and Syllabus for all three phases of RBI Assistant have been detailed below and a candidate to get selected for RBI Assistant posts needs to qualify in all three phases prelims, mains, and Language proficiency test.
