Name of Post: Stenographer Grade-II
No of Posts: 17 Posts
Stenographer Grade-I (English): 11 Posts
Stenographer Grade-I (Language): 06 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have completed a Degree Examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized University.
Essential Qualification:
No candidate shall be eligible to sit for the speed test at 100 w.p.m in English and 90 w.p.m in Language (Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi), unless he/she had passed the speed test at 80 w.p.m in English and 70 w.p.m in Language (Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi) conducted by the Board, constituted and recognized by the Government.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-3, Rs.22,000/- to 97,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.9,400/-.
Age Limit:
- The candidate’s age should be at least 21 years and not more than 38 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation, categorized by groups, will be as follows.

Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated based on the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council which is to be uploaded while filling up the online application. No other document shall be accepted.
