Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Salary
Candidates selected for the Agniveer program in the Armed Forces will receive a financial package of Rs. 4.75 lakhs in the initial year, with an increase to approximately Rs. 6.92 lakhs by the fourth year. In addition to the annual package, selected candidates will be entitled to various allowances, including those for risk and hardship, ration, dress, and travel.
Seva Nidhi: Agniveers will contribute 30% of their monthly salary to the Seva Nidhi package, and the government will match their contribution. After four years of service, Agniveers will receive a lump-sum payment of Rs. 11.71 lakhs from the Seva Nidhi package, plus interest.
Death Compensation: Agniveers are covered by a non-contributory life insurance policy for Rs. 48 lakhs. In addition, their families will receive an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 44 lakhs if they die in the line of duty.
